Host Mike Murphy is
dedicated to introducing the
younger generation to
hunting, fishing and good
sportsmanship.
For many years Mike has
filmed and produced hunting
and outdoors TV shows on
network television,
including The Outdoor
Channel and DirecTV, and
brings a wealth of
experience and integrity to
‘Kids Hooked on the
Outdoors’.
Joella Bates is a Wildlife
professional and dedicated
outdoors participant. She
has worked as a naturalist,
wildlife officer, fisheries
manager, and environmental
scientist prior to becoming
an outdoors promoter.
Joella
can do it all hunt, fish,
shoot any type of weapon
with considerable skill. She
is also a writer, speaker,
instructor, coach, sales
person, and motivator
drawing many persons into
outdoor adventures.

A Florida native and
lifelong outdoorsman,
Co-Host Chuck Echenique
serves on our Pro Staff.
Chuck started guiding
Osceola turkey hunts in
central Florida in 1994 and
began making his own duck
and turkey calls.
He owns Rebel Yelp
Outfitters and Calls and
professionally guides duck,
turkey and alligator hunts
in Florida. Chuck
brings his experience and
maturity to the table for
the TV show.
A resident of
Crossville, Tennessee,
cameraman Cody Tolley
has achieved status as a
competitor in the Grand
National Championship at the
National Wild Turkey
Federation calling contest.
Cody serves as a member of
our Pro Staff, and brings an eye for
making the best of any
environment, along with a youthful perspective,
enhancing the offerings of
'Kids Hooked on the
Outdoors'.
