Three Washington County
women recently established an informal network
to benefit business women in the area. Zena
Corbin, Debbie Goulding and Paula Waller,
recognizing the need for enhanced opportunities
to share information, network and mentor young
business women in the community, have formed the
‘Professional
Women's Network’.
The all-volunteer group
has little formal organizational structure and
no attendance requirements, but offers
opportunities for business woman in the area to
come together to share resources and support
services.
The first ‘Business After Hours’ gathering by
the organization will be held Thursday,
September 17 at Gloria's 1901 Café in Chipley,
from 5 to 6PM. The event will benefit the
Washington County Pregnancy and
Family Center
in Chipley, and although Lydia Kneiss will speak
briefly about services offered by the Center,
the major focus of the session will be a ‘Meet
and Greet’ among the area professional women.
There is no charge for this event, but donations
will be accepted on behalf of the Pregnancy and
Family Center. All professional women in the
area are invited and encouraged to take
advantage of this opportunity to meet other
businesses and represent their occupation
through this networking group.

Waller at 638-1336 or Zena Corbin at 638-1503.
